It deserves its 2 stars. The location was good for us. In a hurry we visited Wendy's nearby. In addition, free WiFi was useful...

The bed was very comfortable and I liked that there was extra pillows and blankets.
We were on the second floor and had to be moved because kids were jumping off the bed on the floor above us and running like wild kids

I felt the room was very noisy. You could hear evey step the people upstairs took. I also felt it was very overpriced.

Curtious staff
Staff accidentaly deactivated our room key card and we couldn't get into our room and our towels were not changed out when we left them in a pile to be laundered and replaced

Bed and room was pretty nice. Bathroom very clean and presentable
The whirlpool tub when turned on was full of black scum(old mold and mildew)making it unusable. Whenever someone shut the door to their room it was sooo loud it startled you out of sleep, including whichever staff member came to work at 5:00 am and slammed the door twice

The staff is what sets this hotel apart. They seem to go out of their way to go the extra mile, and not just once, but every time we visit. Also, the beds & pillows are the very best anywhere!

llocation of hotel.
overall hotel was just average but the breakfast was horrible. I had an omlette and the omlette was frozen. My husband had the same experience.. I also felt the price of the hotel was expensive .

Location to South Haven downtown area, (bout 5 minutes driving), conveniently located right off I-196, Meijer and Walmart and specialty shops.
The elevator is very noisey - sounds like an old sound track of a space ship. Kinda confusing to figure out how to get to them as you enter from behind the hotel.

The suite was roomy and comfortable. The breakfast was very good and was open early (I'm an early riser). All personnel were friendly and helpful.
I could not get the remote to work in the studio room (I could not change channel or get closed captioning) (I have a hearing loss. I am not a technology person, so perhaps I just did not know how to operate the TV remote. Air conditioner/heater was confusing to operate (again I'm not a technology person
